Biography
Lukas Bolini is currently a Post-Doctoral associate with the Galluzzi Lab, where he investigates the role of γδ T cells and mast cells in the development and treatment sensitivity of HR+ breast cancer. Prior to joining the Galluzzi Lab (2025), he was a Ph.D. student with the Inflammation Lab in the Biophysics Institute Carlos Chagas Filho at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (Brazil; 2019-2024), where he obtained his Ph.D. in Physiology (2024) after obtaining his B.Sc. (2017) in Microbiology and Immunology and his M.Sc. (2019) in Physiology from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (Brazil). Lukas has a long-standing interest in the role of rare leukocytes in the pathophysiology of inflammatory diseases and cancer.
