Biography

Abdelrahman Ghazal is currently a volunteer research trainee in the Galluzzi Lab, where he provides technical support to projects investigating the molecular mechanisms underlying cancer progression and response to therapy. Prior to joining the Galluzzi Lab (2025), he obtained his M.B. and Ch.B. degrees from the Faculty of Medicine at Tanta University (Egypt; 2025). He also served as a visiting medical student at Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar (Doha, Qatar; 2024), and Florida International University (Miami, FL; 2024). Abdelrahman has a long-standing interest in translational oncology and aspires to pursue residency training in internal medicine followed by specialty training in oncology, with the goal of becoming a physician-scientist focused on cancer research and treatment.
