Biography
Simon Tarpinian is currently a Technical Specialist with the Galluzzi Lab and the Buqué Lab at Fox Chase Cancer Center (Philadelphia), where he provides technical assistance to the entire team on a variety of technological platforms. Prior to joining the Galluzzi Lab and the Buqué Lab (2025), Simon worked as a Scientific Technician and later a Supervisor at the Laboratory Animal Facility at Fox Chase Cancer Center (Philadelphia, PA; 2001-2019), as Research Associate at Invivotek (Hamilton, NJ; 2019-2020) and as a Senior Research Associate at Spark Therapeutics (Philadelphia, PA; 2020-2024). Simon has an interest in the development and optimization of novel techniques in molecular biology and cell biology, as well as the implementation of novel measures in animal welfare and animal sciences.
