Biography

Jana Klümper is currently a visiting Ph.D. student in the Galluzzi Lab as part of her Ph.D. studies in Medical Biology at the Universitätsklinikum Essen (Germany). Prior to visiting the Galluzzi Lab, she obtained a B.Sc. and a M.Sc. in Biochemistry with a focus on Molecular Medicine from Ruhr-Universität Bochum (Germany; 2024). Jana has a long standing interest in radiation resistance in lung cancer, cytosolic DNA sensing, and CRISPR-based genome editing.
