Biography
Emma Guilbaud is currently a Post-Doctoral Associate with the Galluzzi Lab, where she investigates the modulation of mitophagy as a therapeutic strategy to boost the immunostimulatory effects of radiation therapy in breast cancer. Prior to joining the Galluzzi Lab (2022), she was a Ph.D. student with the Yvan-Charvet and Ricci Labs in the Mediterranean Center of Molecular Medicine (Nice, France; 2018-2021) where she obtained her Ph.D. in Clinical and Therapeutic Research (2021), after receiving her B.Sc. (2016) in Molecular Biology and Genetics, and her M.Sc. (2018) in Genetics, Immunology and Animal Development from the University of Côte d’Azur (Nice, France). Emma has a long-standing interest in adaptive stress responses in cancer cells limiting the activation of antitumor immunity.
