Biography

Claudia is currently a Post-Doctoral Associate with the Galluzzi Lab, in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Weill Cornell Medical College (New York), where she develops strategies to target cancer stem cells for circumventing the resistance of HR+ breast cancer to CDK4/6 inhibitors and radiation therapy. Prior to joining the Galluzzi Lab (2021), she was a Post-Doctoral Associate with the Demaria Lab, in the Department of General Pathology at Catholic University (Rome, Italy; Feb 2021-July 2021), under the supervision of Dr. Antonella Sistigu, after receiving her B.Sc. (2015) and M.Sc (2017), in Biological Sciences from Rome University “Tor Vergata” (Rome, Italy) and her Ph.D. in Oncological Sciences (2021) from at Catholic University. Claudia has a long-standing interest in understanding the immunological mechanisms whereby cancer stem cells evade immune recognition and elimination.
