Biography

Ginevra is currently a Research Specialist with the Galluzzi Lab, in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Weill Cornell Medical College (New York), where she is focusing on the role of mitochondria and BCL2 family members in the immunogenicity of radiation. Prior to joining the Galluzzi Lab (August 2023), Ginevra worked as Research Fellow with the Vitale Lab at Candiolo Cancer Institute (Turin, Italy; 2022-2023) after obtaining her M.Sc. in Cellular and Molecular Biology (2022) from University of Turin (Italy). Ginevra has a long-standing interest in the deregulation of mitochondrial apoptosis as a driver of cancer progression, immunoevasion and metastasis.
