Biography

Millie Nathanson is currently a high school Intern with the Galluzzi Lab, in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Weill Cornell Medical College (New York). Besides shadowing other lab members, Millie is identifying new targets to maximize radiotherapy-driven type I interferon secretion, as part of her high school Science Research Program at the Packer Collegiate Institute (PCI) (Brooklyn, New York). Millie is deeply excited to be in a professional scientific setting as she develops a keen interest in cancer immunotherapies in combination with radiotherapy as a strategy to eradicate breast cancer.
